Mahindra’s recent launches have been very popular recently in the Indian market. The latest launch from the brand “Scorpio-N” will soon arrive in the Indian market. The latest Mahindra Scorpio-N will come with so many changes and have enhanced features and functions. Scorpio-N VS XUV700.

Let us compare both XUV700 and Scorpio-N based on the recent upgrades and changes:

LOOKS:

First of all, Mahindra Scorpio is a proper SUV and different from XUV700. While the XUV700 has a bold stance, the Scorpio-N looks more upright with a higher bonnet position. The Scorpio looks more aggressive than the XUV700. In addition, the Mahindra Scorpio offers a projector lens with LED lamps, whereas the XUV700 comes with reflector-like headlamps. Moreover, Scorpio-N is a better off-roader because of its design. The new Scorpio-N is an RWD vehicle and XUV700 is an FWD vehicle.

SEATING:

The Scorpio-N comes with a tall stance having a much higher driver seat. This will allow drivers to get better visibility. The Scorpio gets bigger windows and glass area, whereas XUV700 has less headroom due to the presence of a panoramic sunroof. In addition, the XUV700 allows the rear passenger to change the position of the co-driver seat. Both vehicles offer similar space and headroom in the last row. The comfort of the XUV700 is better than the Scorpio-N but it has more space.

ENGINE OPTIONS:

Both vehicles use petrol to power up with diesel engine options. The Scorpio runs at a 2.0-liter Stallion turbo petrol engine that generates a maximum power of 200 Bhp. While the XUV700 runs at 197 Bhp. Moreover, the torque output is similar at 380 Nm with Scorpio-N automatic and XUV700 but the manual Scorpio-N produces less torque at 370 Nm.

The diesel 2.2-liter engine of both vehicles is the same. The Scorpio-N produces a maximum power of 130 Bhp to 172 Bhp depending on the variant. While the XUV700 produces a maximum power of 153 Bhp and 182 Bhp. Hence, both the vehicles offer 6-speed AT and MT options.

Therefore, the Mahindra XUV700 comes with a premium cabin with leather seats, connected screens, and a premium black finish. The XUV700 comes with 10.25-inch infotainment bigger than Scorpio 7.0 infotainment system.
