Book Review- A Touch of Eternity:
Author- Durjoy Datta
Genre-Love Story
A Touch of Eternity is quite an affecting romantic tale of Druvan and Anvesha. It is a story of a pair whose parents refuse to acknowledge their ‘togetherness’, and further, try to rip them apart. But Druvan and Anvesha fight with all odds and stick around each other. Well, the setting of the story is based upon a major scientific revolution that claims to make reincarnation attainable. Between the love struggles, Druvan and Anvesha end up participating in that scientific experiment that holds the ability to change a lot of things. But all that remains to witness it that whether they are proven to be soulmates or not?
The Plot of the Story:
The story revolves around a love story that gets amalgamated with technology. The setting is unique, the characters are fresh, and he has used sarcasm very well. Making a story as per virtual trend and which could relate to the youngsters is quite commendable. Some of the scientific terms used in this book make this book more interesting. While experimenting they face a do-or-a-die situation and start living their lives depending upon the technology. Their inseparable love clearly describes their bond and holding on to each other. The plot is quite interesting. This book somehow will make you fall in love and believe in reincarnation, and you might end up believing the hypothesis of this book in the real world which is quite unusual.
As per my view, the book is very unique and relates to the new generation. Durjoy Datta’s writing style has been exceedingly good, and including technology in his plot has made this story quite interesting. I was impress with the whole plot, love struggles explained, the external force (neighbors used), and scientific terms. I would genuinely recommend this book to others who are fond of love stories. A Touch Of Eternity.
